The G.O. is the re-edition of a model designed for Oluce by Giuseppe Ostuni in the 1960s. A lamp that is extremely modern in its design essence, characterized by a vertical stem from which a horizontal stem winds up to which the lampshade is mounted. The arm, thanks to the joint system, is therefore a sliding element and becomes repositionable and orientable according to needs. A family that keeps intact the stylistic features of the original project, such as the use of the cylindrical lampshade and the contrast between the materials with which the various elements are made. The re-edition is embellished with refined details in satin gold that emerge in contrast with the black nickel - of the stems - and the colors of the base and the lampshade, the latter available in three different color variations: black, scarlet red and anodic bronze. The use of color gives vigor and a new contemporaneity to the original project which included a single table version, designed for both the domestic space and the world of contract. This re-edition, on the other hand, expands the project with a new reading version, also characterized by the possibility of repositioning and directing the light beam. Decorative object but with a clean and linear design, G.O. it is striking for its topicality, confirming Oluce's attitude of creating objects capable of transcending fashions and eras.
